Artist's Comments

Well in all my time drawing and doodling, I'd never really drawn the one thing I have alot of exposure to in day-to-day life: tractors. I live and work on a farm, so I finally decided to draw my hypothetical "perfect" tractor. And this is what I got, based heavily on the Steiger STX QuadTracs but with some aesthetic differences including a paint scheme based on the old Allis-Chalmers. Some lines and where they meet colors aren't perfect, and that could be a project for another day, to wrap up everything and clean all the little mistakes up...

The "manufacturer" of this tractor is named Racine after Racine, Wisconsin, the home of Case IH. This tractor is actually the 600 HP offering in the 8200-series of Racine "Farm King" tractors. The "TerraTrac" moniker distinguishes it from the conventional wheeled 8260. The 8200-series represents the heavy horsepower and traction required for high-acreage bulk tillage and larger air seeders necessary for the high-acreage farms of today. It's smaller sibling is the TITAN-series of MFWD tractors, which I'll upload shortly.
